Right, so keep “ambiguous character” official, “Schrodinger’s character” as an alias, and do away with “Schrodiner’s Spyro” until and unless it becomes common enough to warrant a separate tag…

About as I would have expected in hindsight.

Incidentally, I do strongly believe unique tags aren’t always bad. If something is rare, sometimes that means it is a highly memorable, and possibly THE most memorable thing about the image.

Yeah, I agree “Schrodinger’s Spyro” is probably not something someone will ever search (note to self: explain why unique tags aren’t ALWAYS bad, although this one probably is).

Schrodinger's Spyro seems a little specific, unless there’s a lot of unspecific dragons that look like Spyro. So … maybe Schrodinger's Character which is an alias of the main tag Ambiguous Character? That way the evocative fun tag still works but the more generalized and universal tag is there to bind them all together in the darkness and chaos.

Shrodinger's Spyro can remain a separate character if you think it’s good, and it can imply ambiguous character so people who are either looking for or want to hide those can do so without a translation guide.

I asked if the character in the background of the last part of this was an older Spyro the Dragon so I could add the tag if appropriate.

Prompter replied that with AI even the prompter can’t be sure of such things, but that they preferred to think it was a different Dragon. I responded by tagging it “Schrodinger’s Character” and “Schrodinger’s Spyro”. Are either or both of these good tags to have? Should the first one be an alias of or to an “ambiguous character” tag which is probably easier to remember and definitely easier to spell, but not nearly as evocative.
