From a quick glance at the rules I’m not sure I understand the purpose of this whole site or the split in general. It seems that:
A. There will still be policing of art quality on here (for some reason).
B. There will be generally no rate limit on posting.
B. There will be generally no rate limit on posting.
If the original issue was increased workload on the derpi staff to gatekeep art then why would making a new site with less staff, which allows for even more art, be a solution to that? How is this in the interest of the community and not just an attempt by the derpi staff to offload the consequences of their own decisions onto another mod team? I find the idea of policing what people post frankly bizarre on both sites but especially on this one. I can post anything I want on DeviantArt or most other image boards. The voting system can decide what floats to the top or not. Why are we treating this and derpi like private art galleries run to the personal taste of mods and not freely shared community resources?

Just call it tantabooru. references tantabus but still keeps the familiar ‘booru’ naming

This would be a page linked in the site footer that showcases the capabilities of the various AI models from back in the old StyleGAN days through whatever latest PonyDiffusion beta. Each entry ideally would have at least four examples: two of “typical” output and two of the model at its best (potentially with light retouching). Perhaps also an optional bonus column for noteworthy fuckups and WTF moments.

I understand if you all want to keep this as an unofficial “c’mon, let’s use common sense here” policy rather than amend Rule 9.
- Add an exception for notable fuckups (so bad it’s good, WTF, probably not salmon, etc…), historical artifacts, and Dali-inspired surrealism.

Eventually, yes. We’d like to give it a short bit before opening applications given everyone is “new” here, as is everything. If you’re already active on derpi then that might speed things up a bit, but still likely a few weeks before we’d start on that.

Thanks for pointing that out, should be sorted now. If you see any other issues please do let us know.

And yes, the name is meant as a reference to the Luna’s nightmare construct, seeing as so many other ai related sites and services really ham up the whole “dream” thing as much as they can.

It’s not intended to be a ghetto, just more permissive.

Looks to be a bug on default values being set wrong on seeding an account. Apologies for that; not sure if it’ll be fixed as there are other changes in the pipeline heavily affecting themes.

This is something that I suggested on Derpibooru, but it never got acted on. When logged out, the site’s theme is the same as your browser or system theme (not sure which). When you log in though, the site’s theme is set by your settings, and there’s no option to have the theme be set automatically in your settings.

I suggested adding that option, but it never got added. I don’t know why they make it able to sync to your browser/system theme when not logged in, but not have that option when logged in.

I assume it’s a reference to the show’s character + ai. Guessing the .ai is cheaper than the other domains but it’s also much more straightforward.

After registration, clicking the confirmation link in the email sent just dumps me to the Tantabus homepage, with the message:
Confirmation link is invalid or it has expired.
Which is obviously incorrect, because I then logged-in without issue. LoL
Oh hey, do/can I get a badge for being an early-bird? :3
- All
ai contentimages on derpi, sansai voice, were copied over automatically as of this morning.
Praise Lord Ganesha. 😁
I had been assembling a script, in the back of my mind, to save everything that’ll be nuked in a month. I’m just thankful I won’t have to implement it now.

Hi, when I logged in the color theme suddenly switched to Light. Consider keeping the Dark theme by default

Can anyone confirm if this issue is being worked on ?
The tantabus importer for some reason is splitting up the search results of certain underscore separated tags into two separate galleries, with the second one being a space separated tag. And those two tags are not even working as aliases.

Like the example I found:
Searching “prompter:lost_conn”:

Go into the menu with your profile picture on it, then Links, then “Request User Link”. put your prompter tag in on the first field, then your homepage, or your userpage on derpibooru or tantabus for the url. Paste the code it gives you when you submit it on whatever page you gave it.

how do I get verified and get my tag back?
UPD: it turned out I was just a little confused with the hint in the text field, so the question disappeared

“Some staff here will also be present there, but eventually the staff list should include members of its own community” will there be forms for application or how will that even work

You can use the plain editor to copy and paste your filters.

Any chance someone with a derpi account can carry over account details and custom filters? Not an artist, but it’s daunting to rebuild filters from scratch

We can change credit, but may be a few days. File a report on your account or one of your images quickly explaining what you want (or link this thread/post).

I don’t think we’ll manage to copy comments over, unfortunately.

As for image lists, you can add multiple checks for source_url in a single query, ala
derpibooru import AND (source_url:*3501153* || source_url:*3500940* || source_url:*3495415*)(there is a max query length, but I can’t recall it at the moment)

@ #4:
Thank you, you people are a godsend for being willing to come up with / implement that.
Thank you, you people are a godsend for being willing to come up with / implement that.
I couldn’t tell you how many image links I have stored away in my personal-reference pile for neat little ideas and even short-stories that accompanied works that were AI-generated.
In the example you give, it indicates that the description for the original image will be copied over. Is there any chance that comments for those pieces can/will be copied over as well?
And if not, is there any alternative chance we could have access to some kind of tool that allows for quickly checking a given list of Derpi IDs for returns on Tantibus? (This would be used for manual copying/recording of comments of IDs that return positive, in order to save them before the respective images/links are removed.)

Alright, works. I feel like having a separate field for a prompt encourages people to share prompts, so wanted to make sure I mentioned it.

And yeah, metadata formats vary, though I can use custom nodes in ComfyUI to make it write out metadata that looks like A1111…

Default search
If you do not specify a field to search over, the search engine will search for posts with a body that is similar to the query's word stems. For example, posts containing the words winged humanization, wings, and spread wings would all be found by a search for wing, but sewing would not be.
