I also thought it was a bug, not a feature. But you’re probably right; box-es are blank-flanks, just like they are.

It took me a second to realize the lack of writing on the boxes is a feature, not a bug, since these are the pre-cutiesynthesis Crusaders.

P.S. It also seems the AI decided to go with “claymation” for their textures. Interesting variation.
