Twilight Sparkle belonged to a minor noble house in the capital Habitat of the Lunar Monarchy, and no one could have predicted the young filly would find herself in so much trouble. After she managed to resurrect and hatch a long-dead dragon egg, she was accepted into the Lunar Academy of Magic. However, due to problems with her fellow students, she ended up graduating almost alone and decided that working with ponies, and anything else, wasn’t for her. She ended up running her own business as a cybernetic prosthetic manufacturer.

It was there that she was drawn into adventure by Cadance, whom she knew from cyberimplant interest groups. Her brother’s girlfriend introduced her to archaeological research, and it was Twilight who discovered the first traces of the Cybrex ruins. This attracted Nightmare Moon’s attention, prompting Twilight to leave her workshop and join the Crown. The relationship between the alicorn and the unicorn quickly became quite close. Somehow, the leader of the Lunar Monarchy understood Twilight Sparkle’s lonely heart… Afterwards, Twilight became Nightmare Moon’s confidant and was often assigned to important scientific and archaeological projects.

The artwork depicts Twilight working in her secret workshop filled with expedition trophies, crafting a new horn implant for her friend Lyra Heartstrings.
