@Draco Dei
The rainbow nuke one is rather “rule of cool” one. Even having the mass of a Shethland pony (200 kg) and going at match 5 as you said, the energy output would be “only” 70 kg of tnt. Little boy had over 13000.
Don’t get me wrong, one needs completely superhuman toughness to withstand such forces and come out in one piece rather than a thousand, but many feats are deeply exaggerated on the show for fun and epicness.

1.) Any gun that can be usefully fitted with a silencer is firing the bullet at subsonic speeds.
2.) A Rainboom hits at least mach one, and possibly mach five.
Conclusion: Rainbow Dash is faster than at least some speeding bullets.
She doesn’t need to leap over tall buildings, she can straight-up fly.
“More powerful than a locomotive.” she MIGHT be, but really that is more the provinence of AJ (catching and tossing a huge boulder), Maud Pie (tossing a possibly smaller boulder so hard it causes a mushroom cloud, and a small tsunami in a lake, plus jack-hammering the rock to save Pinkie), and Big Mac (pulling a house off its foundations with barely a hint of effort).
…then again, RainNUKEing AJs old barn and cracking a cliff face by flying into it backwards, might count.
Final conclusion: No “kinda” about her, so the shot giving that vibe totally makes sense.
A valid point! (My conclusion did not require that part, and thus remains unaltered.)

Kinda super-hero-y.
