You know damn well what the contents of your comment were, and I’m not going to suffer people playing these idiotic games here. Take that shit to 4chan or twitter or wherever else. This is not an invitation to discuss moderation or the meaning of censorship or current day mores.
@truekry
I didn’t imply any ill will on the part of show creators. All I meant was that it would be unfortunate if the “it’s okay to be black” variant would feature villains. Such a variant could seem racist and would be contrary to the show’s message. I did also mention zebras as the actual black-coded characters that are good.
@Hollow Smirk
Why was my comment deleted then? By your logic, white lives also matter, but clearly saying something like that is too racist to avoid censorship.
@RarityBoss93
There is nothing racist about this piece. It does not promote any race above any other or denigrate any race in any way. It merely states that it is OK to be a certain color.
If you think that’s bad, you’re the racist.
@Background Pony #0CA4
The idea of white/black as good/evil is older than skin color. It comes from the ancient fear of the dark. The night/dark was something to fear for early humanity. Day/Light was something good because it made the dark go away.
To apply this logic to skin/fur color is the racist part. What you just assumed of the creators, implying they think that way. I think that is pretty insulting.
@RarityBoss93
A racist is a racist. Skin color has nothing to do with it.
I wanted to ask you for a variant with black/dark coat characters but I suddenly realized that those are typically evil in the show: Nightmare Moon, Chrysalis, Sombra, Nightmare Rarity, Tantabus… I don’t think this is the message they wanted to send. 😬

Seconded!

Edited because: second answer
Luna is pretty much the only non-evil dark-colored character, it’s true.
Don’t see how it applies to this pic
