Yeah… reminds me of “A Spell for Chameleon”. There was some area that caused sleepiness. You could die probably of thirst still sleeping, or the grass would slowly eat you once you lay down, or something like that. Someone advises the main character to travel with an enemy for safety, because you would always be too on edge to drowse off. IIRC he baits a Harpy into following him, and it works.
EDIT: Cozy Glow might be too much… Actually no. She schemes and bides her time, she would be fairly unlikely to attack someone she just met unless their guard was down or she had something higher powered than a knife. @Lord_Crisis Snerk
