For myself, I find a significant part of my enjoyment of this site comes from going with the errors and oddities and coming up with explanations for them. That is, after all, approximately how we ended up with Derpy. Your Mileage May Vary!
Of course, that doesn’t mean that I can’t simultaneously enjoy disclosures of authorial intent and/or discussions of how to wrangle the fastest, but most idiotic artists on the planet (talking about the AIs not the prompters) into producing the “commissions” we have in our heads… or even just relax and look at the pretty Ponies.
It is ALL good!

Likely the reason they don’t have faces is ChatGPT’s whim, just like its insistence on giving ponies dog noses despite Bad Dragon specifically requesting otherwise.

Well, the thunderheads seem to be waiting patiently but still looking tough, so I shall assume this is a peaceful solution and the reason no facial features are visible on the white ones is because Dash is hanging them up facing away from her, rather than this being executions.
Looks like there is motor oil mixed in with the water in those clouds though.
