Now I am imagining this same scene, but with Scootaloo facing backwards, and the foal torn between excitement and sheer terror, as Dash is using her to call out enemies behind her in a dogfight. Naturally it would take a REALLY bad situation for Dash to resort to that (and almost certainly one that had the only place of safety for Scoots being PAST the area of greatest danger... Dash isn't Lightning Dust), but I imagine that it would work out well given that the only reason Scootaloo would be scared was that Dash, quite appropriately, made sure to impress on her that this isn't a game.
