Since these boards are slow I will mention and link this:
Reminds me of a story (not by me), where, despite a weird language barrier (apparently some mystical force is preventing communication), she and Twilight end up working with human police while stranded. Their… liaison with the force refers to Twilight as “Princess” because she handles herself with such dignity and Tempest defers to her so automatically. Tempest on the other hand…? If you look at scenes or screencaps where she’s with Twilight or the other Mane Six, it’s quickly apparent that she’s a pretty big mare in comparison. Plus the way she took down that much bigger fish guy and the just general intense vibe and presence she had, I think her being ripped is pretty believable. I like to imagine Gilda being pretty ripped for the much of the same reasons.

She can flip-kick (if that is the term?) a rock bigger than her hoof while jumping her own height in the air. She’s gotta be EXTREMELY athletic although probably more like a gymnast than a power-lifter. Still, “ripped” isn’t THAT implausible.
