Description

All mares are queens princesses!
So, I finally gotten around to giving InvokeAI a proper spin. I gotta say, it has gone a really long way since I first tried it way back. It’s been really fun and the whole experience so far has been mostly smooth, starting from streamlined one-click installation to well thought out UI/UX and all the cool generation control tools. Feel like it’s really underappreciated. Anyway, if you’re tired from playing txt2img slot machine, I highly recommend giving InvokeAI a try.

Mostly worked by itself with just reflection, reflective plain at the foreground. I did draw vague color blobs under each pony before inpainting the background/foreground and it did require some small manual corrections and refinement with consequent inpaint after the initial pass, but that’s about it. Honestly, I was fully expecting this idea to completely fail and go with something else, but ZoinksNoob just keeps surprising me.

Nice work! I love all their expressions, although Lunas is a bit overdone in my opinion and breaks immersion.
How did you get the reflections to be near perfect? I always get nonsensical reflections and have to manually fix it

I’m absolutely thrilled with how individually the emotions of each mare are conveyed!
I especially loved Fluttershy’s and Princess Celestia’s reactions! For me, they’re the sweetest!!!
Truly, now all mares are princesses :)

Variational seed is useful to get some changes in the image without changing the base seed, sampler, CFG values, etc. This setting is available in A1111/ComfyUI. Sometimes it can fix some artifacts without changing the composition. It’s basically an additional small noise (its weight is also configurable) that is merged with the base noise produced by the base seed.

In A1111 and ComfyUI Sampler and Scheduler are two different options:

Sometimes I change them independently to get a better generation
It is there, you have to set them in the models tab and you can then insert them via a menu
I don’t see an option to configure autocompletions in the models tab. I think you are talking about something else. What I’m talking about is this:

Can ComfyUI read Invoke? I think this stuff is still to new for overall cross compatibility. Expecially with new programs popping up every day and other getting abandoned
The generation previews are a bit too low-res. With Comfy it’s possible to get 512x512 previews with TAESD
Can’t say that I need an instant preview. I know its possible, again, as a workflow. I generate in batches
once I have a good prompt going.

I took a look at InvokeAI. I love the design and especially the canvas, but it’s still missing some features:
  • Can’t set the variational seed
  • Can’t override the CLIP skip
  • Samplers and schedulers are squashed into one option for some reason
  • Non-existent keywords autocompletion
  • Can’t read metadata from A1111/ComfyUI-generated images
  • The generation previews are a bit too low-res. With Comfy it’s possible to get 512x512 previews with TAESD

How does InvokeAI compare to ComfyUI? Did it make it easier to compose such a picture than other web UIs and if so, how?

Near 100% perfect. Rarty’s wing would have knocked of AJ hat this close together and Pinkie Pies wings are noticeably different in style then the others (like Lunas snout). And Celestias wings are… weird. Can’t really say. Otherwise, really, really good.
Invoke is a game changer in many ways.
Edit:
Also Twi is missing her stripes on the top of her head. And Pinkies upper mane is a mix of hers and Flutters. Also AJs left hind leg is in a weird spot.
