She could turn into a rock. You can’t tie up rocks. Or she could turn into something smaller like a mouse to slip out of the rope or something bigger like a bugbear to break the rope.

Could a shapeshifter, like Ocellus, simply shapeshift herself new limbs (and even fingers) that she could use to untie herself?
Unless you somehow nullify their shapeshifting magic, getting tied up would be just a minor inconvenience for them unless they want to play along.
