I would prefer a version without these sound effects. Also, the music could be more fitting, perhaps egyptian-themed. Otherwise, a very good animation.
Goofy ahh sounds effect’s kinda ruined it
@Chiappa
Funny thing about this is apparently the sound effects were added in post. They weren’t AI generated.Meaning they were fully intended to be there-as ridiculous as they are.
Creator’s notes: Hey there, everycreature. I appreciate your honesty. Perhaps I hadn’t made it clear here, but the sound design in this video was DEFINITELY a deliberate choice. I was going for an exaggerated, surreal, playful and sort of “titillating” audiovisual sensory experience (all done in post production). In other words,
the SFX weren't meant to make sense: they were meant to enhance the mood set by the Sphinx. I get that hearing so many absurd wacky SFX isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I value your critiques, and I thank you at least checking out this video. A version WITHOUT the SFX will be uploaded soon.And as for the music selection, I DID consider “Camel by Camel” as an OBVIOUS choice… but I worry about getting DCMA’d.
