“Dar-ling, I’m ho-ome!” her husband announced sing-song as the door to the apartment opened in the hallway. The klok-klok of stiletto heels ticked down the seconds until he would round the corner in his new outfit, which he’d promised would be slinky and form-fitting. She turned down the heat on the burner so that their dinner wouldn’t scorch, anticipating at least a few minutes away from the stove to appraise her husband’s new outfit.

“See anything you like?” her husband asked in a sultry, Mid-Atlantic accent with an affected flirty breathiness that she couldn’t help but giggle at. But her chuckle turned to a gasp as she turned and looked in the direction of the kitchen doorway.

Hovering about two feet above the floor was a giant, rotund, fleshy orb projecting from her husband’s chest in profile, its girth made even more stunning by the horizontal stripes of his new dress. He turned, smiling, to reveal its twin jiggling and jostling beside it to form a pair of some of the largest breasts she’d ever seen, swinging and swaying on one of the shortest figures, all wrapped up tightly in a purple-and-pink sweater that had been modified to serve as an entire dress for her pony-sized unicorn husband.

“Oh my!” she exclaimed in little more than a strong whisper as she took in the sight. “You had another growth spurt!”

“Eyes up here, darling!” he teased, causing them both to break into a giggle fit. “So, what do you think?” he asked, striking a pose by holding both arms behind his head and arching his back, marveling at how much weight was pulling forward now.

“I think somebody needs to finish his soup so I can have my dessert all the quicker,” she replied, reaching down to grab his wrists and kiss him on the cheek. His sudden blush was so pronounced she could feel the glow warming her own face, and his recently-enlarged nipples immediately began poking into the round softness of her own bust through the thick material of his sweater dress and her hoodie as they stood there for a moment, too overwhelmed to break off.

Until the doorknob started working itself a someone unlocked it from the hallway. Four pointed pony ears shot up to attention, four eyes widened in surprise. The only other person who had their key was the landlord. What did Mr./Ms. Delbruck want with them? Only a few words had ever been exchanged between them since they had moved in, and less than half of that since The Ripple. Dinner was momentarily forgotten as they stepped into the short hallway and saw the door swing open.

The stranger was about as tall as Fluttershy, with pallid white skin, lanky brown hair cropped short, a sky-blue Friendship is Magic T-shirt stretched over an early beer belly, and hair legs sticking out from the pea-green cargo shorts.

“Yes! This is the right place! Hi,” he said in the sort of low-pitched, masculine tones that had been utterly absent from their worlds for the last three months. “I’m Dirk, but I go by x-FIMFANFOOM-x online.” His brown eyes darted from one of them to the other, and his heavy, fleshy arm began levitating up with an uncertain finger extended. “Which of you was the husband?” he asked.

“I am,” Rarity said reflexively.

“Oh that’s hot,” Dirk said with a grin. “Let’s go into the kitchen! Is that dinner I smell?”

“Um, yes,” Fluttershy answered without thinking. “Soup is ready.” She was blushing. Of all the times for a man to show up, it had to be before she had brushed her maine or put on anything more appropriate than a hoodie and shorts. At least her husband had done his hair up and applied makeup before going shopping, the lucky little bastard. She glanced down at him, and saw him looking up at her with a huge grin on his face and shimmering eyes about to burst with unforeseen excitement.

“Well then,” Dirk said jovially as he clapped his hands together heartily. “Let’s eat!”
